About Nature Pals

AntlionNature Pals, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was created out of love for insects and the passion to teach people of all ages about these wonderful little animals. It has been our experiences over the years that have helped us realize that people in general, children and adults; do not have general knowledge about insects and how they interact with our environment. We believe that insects are extremely important to the environment, food chain and food production and we want to teach everyone that insects are amazing animals and they are extremely beneficial in nature.

It is important to Nature Pals that not only do we have children and adults that want to have programs but we have people who are supporting the programs. Nature Pals is governed by a Board of Directors and is meant to be a community organization where everyone can participate. We are funded primarily through public donations, foundations, and grants. Although our programs have reasonable fees associated with them, we hope to keep costs down by the donations we receive to maintain the organization.

Nature Pals is located in northern Kentucky and is reaching out to communities in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. We believe in public outreach programs and we believe that our fun programs and insects that we offer in a safe environment with knowledgeable staff and volunteers will bring awareness to the insects. We feel once people have experienced our programs they will leave with the basic knowledge of insects and why insects are important to people and our environment.
